Todd, David and Donna Endowed Scholarship
The David and Donna Todd Endowed Scholarship was established in December 2024 to provide tuition assistance to working families.
David and Donna Todd have been married for forty years and raised two sons who graduated from The University of Akron. The Todds both have earned MBA degrees, value education, and are continuous learners. David Todd earned a second master's degree in cybersecurity at the age of 61. David has worked in the technology field for forty years. While raising their children, Donna served as an adjunct professor in the Business Department at Lake Erie College and Lakeland Community College.
David and Donna understand the challenges that financial constraints can pose for families with college-bound students. By establishing this scholarship, the Todds hope to support families facing similar concerns today.
The David and Donna Todd Endowed Scholarship was established as part of We Rise Together, the Campaign for The University of Akron.

To be eligible for the scholarship, students must work a part-time job during the school year or hold a job during the summer months.
